of infants and toddlers of employed mothers are primarily cared
for by someone other than a parent while their mother is working.
- Of
those 73%, 27% are cared for by relatives; 22% are
in center-based care; 17% are in family child care homes,
and 7% are cared for by nannies or baby sitters.
