A recent public opinion survey of 3,000 American adults on selected child and family policies found that:

  • 88% of parents of young children and 80% of all adults support paid parental leave.
  • 89% of parents of young children and 84% of all adults support expanding disability or unemployment insurance as a vehicle for paid family leave.
